Heights Quarry - CBS

A community owned solar farm

The CBS (co-op) is a member-owned and democratically controlled organization designed to serve the shared needs of the Community rather than maximize profits for external investors. The key features are:

  • Member Ownership - The people who join the co-op also own and control it
  • Democratic Decision Making - each member gets one vote, ensuring fair governance
  • Profit Sharing - all profits are managed and distributed by the co-op
  • Community Focus - supporting local projects ad investing in future energy installations
